Welcome to our much-loved 2-bedroom cottage, tucked away in a sleepy village in the heart of the beautiful Peak District. Sleeping up to 5 guests, it’s a place we’ve poured a lot of care into—a true home-from-home where couples, young families and small groups can unwind, and explore.

Ideally located for exploring the Peak District, the property is just 10 minutes from Matlock and 15 minutes from Bakewell, surrounded by stunning countryside views. A friendly local pub is less than a mile away, and the village shop is just over a mile from the property — perfect for a relaxing and convenient stay.

Inside, the cottage blends comfort with character. Settle in by one of the two inviting log burners, enjoy a film night on the smart TV, or take advantage of the dedicated workspace if you need to check in. Enjoy the games room, complete with a pool table, arcade machine, darts board, and plenty of board games and jigsaw puzzles for those cosy nights in.

We want your stay to feel effortless, so we provide thoughtful starter kits with tea, coffee, milk, soft drinks, firewood, and toiletries—everything you need to settle in from the moment you arrive.

Castleview Cottage is set over three floors, with the kitchen located on the lower level. The stairs leading down to the kitchen are steep, and although this adds to the charm, it may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues or anyone who may find steep steps challenging.

Pets are welcome to join you during your stay with prior agreement. Please note that a small additional fee applies to accommodate extra cleaning and maintenance. If you plan to bring a pet, just let us know in advance so we can ensure everything is prepared for a comfortable visit for you and your furry companion.
